Dr. Zhang is an Assistant Professor at the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Nanyang Technological University (NTU). He obtained his Bachelor, Master, and Doctor degrees from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), China, in 2009, 2012, and 2014, respectively. Prior to his appointment at NTU, Dr. Zhang was a Postdoctoral Fellow with Dr. Baabak Ashuri at Georgia Institute of Technology in U.S. during 2016/17 and a Postdoctoral Fellow with Dr. Simaan M. AbouRizk at University of Alberta in Canada during 2015/16. Dr. Zhang also studied with Dr. Mirosalw J. Skibniewski as a Visiting Ph.D. student at University of Maryland, College Park in U.S. during 2012/13. Dr. Zhang’s principal research area involves Construction Risk Management, Network Modeling and Simulation, and BIM Data Analytics, with a focus on construction safety and productivity.
